WinKote 100 is specifically formulated as a medium temperature, cleaner & iron phosphatizer and paint pre-treatment for most metals.It will produce a nice tight bonded iron phosphate conversion coating on steel and iron parts while cleaning and slightly etching zinc, galvanized and aluminum parts. The accelerator in this product differs from conventional iron phosphate products, enabling better results.10 to 20 milligrams per square foot heavier coatings are not uncommon. WinKote 100 is instantly soluble when used in an industrial spray washer system.Typical dwell times should be from 60 seconds to 120 seconds with the last 30 seconds forming the conversioncoating. Typical temperature ranges can be from 100oF to 160oF.The pH ranges should be maintained between 3.0 and 5.0 with a pH of 4.0 being optimum.WinKote 100 will clean medium duty to heavy shop soils, drawing compounds, rust prevents, and water soluble machining fluids.Heavier soils may need a cleaner booster added to the tank such as Solution 2256.Heavy fatty oils, wax-type materials, paste drawing compounds will require an alkaline cleaner prior to being processed in thesystem.WinKote 100 is safe to use by experienced crews, eliminating strong odors and burns normally associated with competitive type products.

WinKote 3270 is a liquid cleaner / iron-phosphatizing compound specifically formulated to be used in a two or more stage industrial spray washer system. It contains a unique blend of highly effective biodegradable surfactants that will effectively remove most shop soils, and other contaminants while simultaneously leaving a premium quality iron phosphate coating.This product greatly enhances paint adhesion and provides superior corrosion protection on ferrous metals as well.WinKote 3270 prepares ferrous substrates for painting by converting their surfaces into an amorphous iron phosphate coating.WinKote 3270is also fortified with additives to promoteetching on non-ferrous substrates, including aluminum, zinc, and their alloys. This product is designed specifically to reduce the streaking and spotting normally associated with many iron phosphatizers, thus reducing potential paint coverage issues. WinKote 3270 can be metered automatically into the wash system, through one of the Win Solutions’ Solution Control systems.
USING PROCEDURES
For most spray operations, dilute WinKote 3270 to 2 – 5 % and apply at 100 – 150 OF. Increasing temperature will facilitate faster conversion coatings.When necessary, adjust pH to an optimum operating range of 3.5 to 4.5. Consult your Win Solutions representative for the optimum operating concentrations. It can also be used in a soak tank process at 8-10% by volume with water at 130 - 160oF.
WinStrip 2354
WinStrip 2354 is a highly effective paint stripper on essentially all types of paints, and powder coatings from virtually all types of metals.Its unique blend makes WinStrip 2354 the product of choice for aluminum stripping. Unlike many other paint strippers that use two parts, WinStrip 2354 is a one-part stripper that works well on various substrates.There is no longer a need of having a stripper for ferrous metals and another for non-ferrous metals.For stripping paint or powder coatings, use WinStrip 2354 as received. WinStrip 2354 is unsurpassed as a chlorinated paint-removing product.Its high effectiveness on aluminum has become very popular with aluminum painting companies. It will not attack the aluminum, as does many other one and two part paint stripping systems do. WinStrip 2354 has a low evaporation rate and no readhesion of paints can be expected with this product.It is easily rinsed with water. When used properly, the tank life should be between 4 – 6 months depending on the stripping situations. This product also comes in a thickened (viscous)j version for vertical paint stripping applications.
